Warranty

1. Warranty Coverage

1.1 Standard Warranty Term

Each new Saibotics Cleaning Drone (the “Product”) is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for twelve (12) months from the date of delivery.

1.2 Component Coverage

Coverage periods:

  • Drone Frame (metal & carbon fiber): 12 months (excluding folding joints)
  • Motors & Electronic Speed Controllers (ESCs): 12 months
  • Remote Controller (excluding batteries): 12 months
  • Smart Batteries: 6 months or until remaining capacity drops below 70%, whichever comes first
  • Other Components (propellers, nozzles, hoses, tanks, connectors, seals, filters, cleaning wands, gimbals, cables, and other consumables): 6 months
  • Folding Joints: 3 months
  • Software & Firmware: Free upgrades, updates, and bug fixes released by Saibotics during the warranty term.

Coverage applies only when the Product is used and maintained in accordance with the Saibotics User Manual and operator training.

1.3 Remedy

During the warranty period, Seller will, at its discretion, repair or replace any defective component with new or refurbished parts of equal or greater performance.

2. Buyer Responsibilities

  • Ensure operators are trained and licensed as required (e.g., Transport Canada Advanced RPAS, FAA Part 107, or local equivalent).
  • Operate the Product only in accordance with the Saibotics User Manual and training guidelines.
  • Maintain valid hull insurance covering loss, theft, and physical damage throughout the warranty term.
  • Keep accurate flight logs, maintenance records, and operator training records; provide them with any claim.
  • Use only Saibotics-approved parts, batteries, and accessories.

3. Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear (scratches, paint fading, cosmetic issues)
  • Consumables beyond their coverage period (propellers, nozzles, hoses, filters, seals, batteries, etc.)
  • Damage from misuse, negligence, collision, improper storage, unauthorized modifications or repairs
  • Operation outside safe parameters (e.g., overloading, excessive altitude, adverse weather, electromagnetic interference)
  • Software not provided or authorized by Seller
  • Damage resulting from lack of required insurance or failure to install mandatory firmware/maintenance updates
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including downtime, lost revenue, or third-party claims)

4. Warranty Service & Claims

4.1 Claim Submission

Claims must be submitted in writing and include:

  • Invoice number and proof of purchase
  • Detailed description of the defect
  • Relevant flight and maintenance logs
  • Photographs or video evidence, if applicable

4.2 Service Process

  • Buyer is responsible for shipping the Product to a Saibotics Authorized Service Center.
  • If covered, Seller will repair or replace defective parts and cover reasonable return shipping.
  • If not covered, Buyer is responsible for inspection, labor, and shipping costs.

5. Limitation of Liability

Seller’s maximum aggregate liability under this Warranty shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the Product.

Except as expressly stated herein, the Product is provided “as is” and all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Buyer shall indemnify and hold harmless Seller against any third-party claims, penalties, or liabilities arising from Buyer’s misuse, regulatory non-compliance, or failure to maintain required insurance.

6. Updates

Saibotics is committed to continuous improvement. This Warranty may be updated or refined from time to time. The version in effect on the date of Product delivery (or, if applicable, the date of enrollment in any Extended Warranty plan) shall apply.

Handling & Packaging

Every Saibotics cleaning drone is shipped in an aluminum transport case for secure mobility.

Freight Damage & Inspection

To ensure full warranty protection, please follow these steps upon delivery:

  • Inspect your drone immediately for any visible or concealed damage before signing the delivery receipt.
  • Report any damage or missing components to Saibotics within five (5) days of receipt.
  • Failure to report damage within this period may affect your warranty eligibility.
  • Do not operate the drone before reporting visible damage — using the unit may void warranty coverage.

If shipping damage is verified, Saibotics will coordinate replacement or repair of the affected components according to our warranty policy.

Saibotics Care+ members receive prepaid return shipping labels for verified claims.

Standard warranty customers are responsible for return shipping to the service center; Saibotics covers outbound shipping after repair or replacement.

All verified warranty cases are handled by authorized Saibotics service centers, ensuring components are repaired or replaced to factory standards.

If a part is discontinued, Saibotics will provide an equivalent or upgraded component at its discretion.
